Welcome!

To all Safety Professionals and everyone else who has an interest in "Safety in the Workplace". The Lower Columbia Basin Chapter (LCB) is located in the Tri-Cities, in the State of Washington. We are dedicated to servicing members, and Safety and Health Professionals in an eight county area from Yakima, to Dayton Washington, to LaGrande Oregon.

The LCB Chapter was formed in the Tri-Cities after being a section under the Inland Northwest Chapter, Spokane, Wa. for several years. We became the 140th ASSE Chapter with a territory that includes Benton, Franklin, Yakima, Walla Walla, Columbia counties in Washington State, and Umatilla, Morrow and Union counties in Oregon State. The Chapter currently has around 140 members. We meet 9 times a year, as well as issue 10 newsletters a year and are involved in several community safety support projects.
